Tips for Planning the Interior of Your Fitted Wardrobe

Planning the interior of a fitted wardrobe can be very time consuming if you don’t have someone who can help you with the design. It is a good idea to have a list of everything that you need before you start your design. It is also a good idea to have a rough idea of the size of the room that you are planning on fitting your wardrobe in. You should measure down both sides of the wardrobe opening so that you know the width and the height of the wardrobe opening. This will make it much easier when you are planning the wardrobe’s layout. Find a range of Fitted Wardrobes Dorset at a site such as Lamco

When you have your measurements and your list ready, you can begin to draw up your layout on graph paper. What you want to do is to divide the sections, then identify which section you will place each item of clothing. For example, you might want to group all of your jackets together, or all of your shoes, etc. Once you have labeled a section on your layout for each piece of clothing, you can then take each section and arrange them accordingly in the rest of your wardrobe.

Now that you have arranged your clothing according to their respective locations, you should turn your attention to the wall space available. You want to plan out the layout of your fitted wardrobe so that it flows naturally with the rest of the room. If you are starting from scratch, you will want to plan out the placement of the wardrobe, shelves and drawers so that everything is easy to find.
