The pure joy and excitement of Sports in Turkey.

There is a lot to be said for the excitement of participating in water and outdoor sports. If they are taking place in Turkey then it’s doubly fun. Turkey is beautiful country that is well known for its stunning beaches and it’s breathtaking landscapes but there is plenty of other activities for you to do. Here are some of the most popular sports in Turkey and why not make the most of the holiday by staying in one of the many  Villas in Kas. A visit to https://kas4villarentals.com/ will give you more information on that but here is a run down on the sports.

Scuba Diving. From April to November you can partake in the underwater fun of scuba diving. The crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean and Aegean sea provide a perfect location and you do not have to be an expert to get into it. There are full courses available to the beginner and more advanced dives for those with a bit more experience.

White water rafting. This happens in the Antalya  region taking advantage of the wild waters that run down from the mountainous North West. It is one of the most intense experiences that you can ever have. It’s not all “plain sailing” either you are in for a wild ride, albeit with lots of safety taken into consideration.

Paragliding. Kas offers one of the best places for this white knuckle sport. You are cast into the air towed by a boat out into the sea where you will have some of the best views of the surrounding area that you could ever wish to see. Floating weightless above the bright blue water is certainly a memory to take home with you.

Crossing Cappadocia on Horseback or Mountain Bike. Cappadocia is like another world. In fact it has been likened to the surface of the Moon. Getting across this region, thought to be the closest thing to the lunar landscape there is, is made even more fun if its conducted on Horseback. If the horse is not your favoured mode of transport then a mountain bike might be more to your liking. It’s a great way to find the cave cities that are hidden away in its valleys.

Sea Kayaking around the coast. Its quite hard work and you’ll need a good pair of shoulders on you. Again the clear waters of the region can provide you with wonderful views both under and above the water.
