I don’t really have what you call a fancy car as such, but I do think that it needs protecting. Now in this case I’m not actually talking about fitting a car alarm or getting dash board camera, although they look like a good idea. I was thinking more about protecting the car form the elements. Don’t laugh but the ironic thing is I do actually have a garage! Now, I know exactly what you’re going to say next “why don’t you put it in the garage then?” Well, I would but the thing is we’ve just got so much other stuff in there and other plans for that space that just using it for the car seems a bit limiting. It turns out I’m not alone in this. Statistically hardly any of us that own a car and a garage use it for the purposes of putting a car in it. It might be to do with the fact that we seem to accrue so much stuff in our lives. The place I’ve started looking for Bespoke Oak Carport is the following website www.bespoaktimberframes.co.uk/ They seem to have a wide range to choose from and to suit the budgets.
So, what’s in my garage? Well I’ve not got a shed, so the gardening gear is all in there, All my spades and forks plus the lawn mower. I really need to start hanging them up or something, but the real plan is to turn it into a room. You can clad the insides and line them quite easily, but I will need someone to sort me out with a window and a door into the garden. It might stop me from using it as a dumping ground for everything that I should really throw away in the house as well.
As to the reasons for the car port? Well, I’ve ummed and ahhed about it and the facts sort of speak for themselves. A car depreciates as soon as it leaves the showroom, but you can try and help a little bit by looking after it a bit better. The wind, Sun and rain plus any other extreme element that comes along can all have dramatic effect on the car’s paintwork and body work. A car port will provide a bit of cover so it’s a great investment. It means I can go through with all those garage conversion plans and not feel a little bit guilty about it!
